Norman G. Hill

About Me

Norman G. Hill, P.E, P.L.S. founded Land Planning Inc  in 1984 after he had over 25 years of related professional experience.  Norman earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University Of Rhode Island in 1970, and later earned his Masters of Business Administration at Boston University in 1984.  Norman is a licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Maine and is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Massachusetts.  Norman is an active member of the Massachusetts Association of Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors and is a former member of the American Society of Civil Engineers  and the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

A father of three children and a grandfather of five, Norman has been married to his wife Cyndy for forty one years.  He is active in his church and has directed several charitable community construction projects which were designed and supervised by Norman and his staff at Land Planning Inc.

During his 25 years of experience leading up to his  founding Land Planning Inc. in 1984, Norman had experience with a construction company, a utility company, a pump station design company, the State of Rhode Island, The City of East Providence,  and a national defense contractor.  Norman’s last position before founding Land Planning Inc. was with G.T.E. as a Program Manager on the MX missile system.

Norman also had a  secret clearance which he earned with his experience in the Army National Guard.  He received his honorable discharge as a  Master Sergeant.
