Grafton High School and Elementary Schools

Before an architect can design a new school, they need a land surveyor to survey the existing conditions of the site.  This survey includes the survey of the property lines, topography, edge of wetlands, nearby riverbanks, and any other existing feature which could effect the design, such as ledge outcroppings, stone walls, large trees.  In addition the architect and their structural engineer will need engineering data on the soils under the ground, such as the depth to ground water, the strength and types of soils, the depth to ledge, and the infiltration rates of the underlying soils.  All of this information is needed to design the foundation and drainage systems.  They also need us to gather information on, and survey the location and elevation of the available sewer, water, electrical, telephone, cable television, gas and drainage services.

We provided those services for the existing Grafton High School and for the elementary schools.
